Please read the application elements and Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your application to the 2023 Award Mentorship Program for Writers and Illustrators. Entries that fail to meet our requirements will not be accepted.

ASA members will need their membership number when completing this form. It can be found when logged in to 'My Account' here: https://www.asauthors.org/membership/mymemberships

Non-members will need to pay the administration fee and quote their 5-digit Order Number when completing this form. The fee can be paid here: https://www.asauthors.org/products/additional-services/award-mentorship-administration-fee

All writers and illustrators are welcome to apply. In recognition of barriers to access and to encourage diversity in publishing, we are encouraging submissions from:

- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander writers and illustrators
- Writers from marginalised communities (culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse creators, creators from LBGTQIA + communities, and creators with disabilities.)
- Writers/illustrators from regional and remote areas

Files must be submitted in Word Document format, in Times New Roman, 12 point, double-spaced with page numbers, the writer's name and the working title of the work on every page.

- Checked that your ASA membership is current or paid the application fee.

- Correctly completed all fields of this form, including attaching correctly formatted Word documents for the statement and full manuscript as per the Application Elements and Terms and Conditions.
