NEW TO VIEW is a monthly e-newsletter which showcases our members' new book publications, in the month of their release.
This bulletin is emailed to our members and subscribers; a reach of more than 8,000 people with a genuine interest in the book industry, alongside booksellers and library suppliers. Each work is listed alphabetically by author surname and includes the following information:
The service is FREE for Full members and is sent out around the 15th of each month.
We are very excited that we are able to provide a platform that showcases the breadth of our members’ published creative work.
We accept submissions anytime in advance of publication but not after publication. If you'd like your book featured in the bulletin your submission is due by the 1st of the month of publication of your book. E.g. if your book is due to be published in April, the deadline for your submission to New to View is 1 April.
The deadlines for 2023 are below - please note we will not include books that do not meet these deadlines.
This is a Full member only service and you will be asked to quote your membership number.

To be included in New to View, your title must be available to an Australian consumer.
All submissions must observe the member Code of Conduct.
Submissions must be made via our online submission form. Email submissions cannot be accepted.

Backlist Bonanza is our once-yearly special edition of New to View which offers Full members of the ASA the chance to promote any of their backlist titles* to the ASA's extensive mailing lists, including members, subscribers, nationwide bookshops, and major library suppliers.
Submissions for the next edition of Backlist Bonanza, due to be sent out in February 2023, are now open and will close 27 January 2023.
