As the peak organisation for Australia's authors and illustrators, we have been tirelessly fighting on your behalf for over 50 years and have achieved many successes, including PLR, ELR and the Copyright Agency licensing scheme. And the fight continues as we advocate on your behalf for everything from fair rates of pay for writers and illustrators, to Digital Lending Rights, access to funding and strong lobbying against unfair copyright changes such as Fair Use.
The ASA does not receive government funding as organisation. This means none of what we do is possible without the support of our members.
